Hi, I joined this forum last year to try and get some information about how to ease treatment symptoms for my daddy. Unfortunately he passed away last June 6 weeks after the news that it had spread. Anyway im just posting to say that although i never really posted and was useless to anyone else reading the forum, i got so much helpful information and it really helped me understand this horrible disease as my dad would never allow us to talk about it. So thanks to all the brave people who come on everday offering comfort and wisdom to others in the face of their own fight. I am running a 10k to raise money for cancer research this summer so hopefully one day a cure can be found.anyway sorry to go on and on I just wanted to say thanks and wish everyone well.

Hi Talluhlabelle
What a lovely post. So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. It must've been terribly shocking for you as a family when it was so quick. I hope you and yours are getting along OK.
For those of us who know the power of this great site, it's beaut to hear that someone we don't really 'know' has felt the benefits too.
All the very best to you and congratulations on making the 10k run. I hope you're able to raise a motza (as we say down here!)
Cheers
Deborah

Sorry to hear about your dad Talluhlabelle. I guess the only comfort is that his passing was so quick and that he didn't have a prolonged suffering.
Good luck with the run in the summer. Let us know how you get on. Hagg.

13 years and still kicking it. Never give up your fight.
