Does anyone feel like their jaw is about to lock up mid-conversation?
Four years on from Radiation although I can open my mouth wider than after treatment, I do get this locking sensation from time to time which will occasionally make me struggle with speech. More annoying than uncomfortable. Even so, I wish I could somehow stop this when it starts but I guess I never will. I'll just have to talk less often... lol |

Hi Steve,
Yeah, I get the lock jaw thingy too. It's bloody annoying cause by the time I get it going again I sometimes loose track of what I was saying. Or maybe I'm just having a 'senior moment' lol. I'd love to have the guts to go for a trial for X Factor. (I used to sing quite alot and was good at it, not that you'd think so now) I'd let them show it in the no hope section, what a way to make people aware of head and neck cancer! SusieR |

Arghh 1 hour 20 minutes in the dentist's chair last week for a new crown - awful trying to keep the mouth open that long before,
but now traumatising.
