Hi All, I'm not Vicki but, she has been sick.
She had problems with her jaw not healing up
right. I'll e-mail her and let her know
that you were thinking about her.

May angels rest beside your door,
May you hear their voices sing.

May you feel their loving care for you,
May you hear their peace bells ring.

May angels always care for you,
And never let you fall,

May they bear you up on angel's wings,
May they keep you standing tall!

HI All, Spoke to Vicki on my return from India she is alot better but been ill again vomitting thinks it was result of having camera put down nose and throat.
She is such a wonderful person and I know we have met and become very close friends.
I get the impression that on RDOC people are not willing to open up about how they feel and it affect their lives and to me this is the only way I cope as I am alone.

cheers
Paul

Hi Paul, I too am alone, and have an aged mother 3 hours drive away, a handicapped son, one hours drive away in the opposite direction, trying to run a business alone, so I know the feeling; am in pain most of the time, everything I do seems to take twice as long; I used to have people round for dinner, but eating is done mostly alone; and I feel I cannot winge to friends.
I feel like I have a hard cricket ball stuck in my neck, my eyes have lost their sparkle.

Through programming filters.

The future Imaginary.

When I am really low I write for myself to try an get my feelings out and not store them inside.

P.S. I am at Caring Cross ENT thursday fingers crossed

Garance just sad to hear you feel your eyes have lost their sparkle. I wish I could comfort you - that phrase comes over as so meaningful.

If posssible try somhow to pamper yourself this weekend and do something creative design wise that you used to do before it became work related. But just do it for pleasure. Being alone when you are ill is not pleasant. Maybe get your pain meds upped at you next appointment.

Hi Garance,
My husband is feeling the same way, we are both alone here here in Texas and it is so very hard when friends do not come around any more. I work all day and he is by him self and his faithful companion Shiloh his dog.

I do not know how the weather is there but it helps Jerry here in Tx. He can not eat without the feeding tube but he has a garden growing and it keeps him busy being outside. I think that is helping him some.

Do you have any animals? I really think that has helped my husband as he goes out with his dog quite a bit and working in the garden is something he looks forward to

Hi Terry, I look after a friends Springer Spaniel called Shadow, she is very sweet, but will bite your hand off if you go anywhere near her when she is feeding.
When I have a good day I seem to do too much and then I am zonked out the following day.
Any news on Vicki Lynn ????
