Im going with my dad to get his results of the biopsy at 10.20,i think its going to be bad news because the results have only took 5 days,plus yesturday he went for a scan(i think they know allready and they are checking to see if its spread)i feel so sick at the moment its helping me pass time reading on this site(top site)god knows what some of you brave people go through.I need to stay stong because i love my parents so much,they have been married 40 years now,im going now hope to post good news tommorow.

Jeff,
Test and scans are processed quickly for cancer, as they can spread quickly and action needs to be quick!

I'm sure your just like any concerned son/daughter that's going thru the same emotion, I certainly never want my parents to be sick/unwell.But it brings out the best in us all!

im back now guess what from what the doctor told us hes going to be o.k,hes got to go in hostpital on 27th may so they can just make sure,there are a few abnormal cells which they are going to remove by lazer,upto yet they are not cancerous hes only got to go in for a couple of days,iv never been so scared in my life when they called his name out and took us in a room,now my dad as got to go to another hostpital to find out why hes lost weight so much,hope thats not going to be bad news sorry to keep going on about it,i dont think my dad relises how lucky he is about throat cancer,hes just moaning about having to go in hostpital for a couple of days.thanks for listning it helps.

hi Jeff, great to hear your dad got good news. Just hope you remember the feelings you had when you thought it was going to be bad news and treasure your dad as long as he is with you.
