Hello all... I know this may be a little premature but i wondered if anyone could shed some light into a little problem i cant get out of my mind...

My boyfriend who is 28 and in good health came to me last night with a worried look on his face.
He told me he felt a lump on his testicles (i think thats what u call them decently!) He tried to play it down as being 'just a spot' but i asked to see, for a second opinion. It seems a bit funny to be just a spot to me, it is white and seems to be coming from under the skin.
At the moment it isnt very big about the size of a petis poi pea, and i told him i was worried about it. of course as soon as i mentioned nurse/doctors he freaked and insists it's just a spot. But i told him blank, what if it is cancer? that seemed to sink in a bit, although he is proberly a bit young to get it you never know it is best to be safe than sorry. so i convinced him to wait a week, and if it hasnt gone or has gotten bigger then straight to the doctors he goes, being dragged by me! lol

Has anybody ever had this before? how can i tell if the lump is a cancerous one.

HELP!!!

Hi Sucow

Sorry to hear about the worry you are both having. Here are a few links that may be of help:
Testicular self-examination

Another site: "That said, the TSE should not be considered a substitute for a clinical examination conducted by an experienced physician: A doctor's diagnosis is almost always going to be better than yours. The TSE functions more like a warning light on your body's dashboard than some sort of at-home diagnostic tool for cancer. "

There is more info at Testicular Cancer Resource Centre

Hope all goes well!

Best wishes

Vinod :coffee:
