Thank you for your kind words last week after my post to say that my husband had passed away. His funeral was yesterday, and I thought that you would like to know that every attendee received a small memorial card, with this website address on it (and the Dental Health one which has a section on Oral Cancer) and on the back were the 12 key symptoms to watch out for as listed on the home page of this site. Attached to each one of these was a blue ribbon shaped enamel lapel pin. Of the 200 prepared, I came home with 14. (It was a large funeral - my husband was young and well loved!) So that means that there are at least another 186 people out there who know about Mouth Cancer and will be wearing their blue ribbons with pride - and a hell of a lot of those also took a donation envelope so they could chose to donate to Cancer Research UK or to the Mouth Cancer Foundation. I don't know final figures yet, but when I do I will let you know. Keep fighting you all! Much love spouse | |||
