Thinking about having my tonsils removed.Go ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the left tonsil. Stage III T2, N1, M0. in June 2003. It metastasized to one lump node on the left side of my neck. Completed Radiation therapy in December 2003. I was in excellent performance and nutritional status; going to the gym six days a week; did cardio one day and weight trained the next. I do not smoke; I drink one or two beers on rare occasions. I am doing well now. No signs of Cancer. I am “on the fence” about weather or not to have my Tonsils removed. Can anyone offer advice or recommendations?

Hi Dr T You need to get your specialist's advice on what is best for you. If still unsure, get a second opinion.
