Hi 200
Good to hear form you.
Sure that sounds great, I did the walk last November, which was a beautiful day, but yes I would've rather ran it, being more used to running.
I may get my husband to do it too, he only runs on t/mill and doesn't do long distances but has said that he will do Nike Run London this year, so see how he goes and he may join us too.
But def gount e in!!
Hope you're well.
My dad has really improved, he is eating and drinking and his weight has gone up to 10.3. Its his b/day this week so going up for a family celebration....soooo happy.
Take care
Dee

I don't know if that will be too far for me. I went for my first proper run today after my marathon. It went reasonably well (all 157 meters of it)!

I'll also have to wait and see what Chris has planned because it's his 30th the weekend after and there's going to be a car show which he's taking his car to in October.

Dee,

Have you managed to get all your sponsorship in yet? I'm nearly there with it now, just have a few stragglers' money to round up.

Do you know where the cheque gets sent to and who it needs to be made payable to?

Hi HY4
Yep nearly done I've got £30 still owing and you know what its my father in-law and close friend!! always the way everyone gave really quickly this year.
The cheque is payable to the the mouth cancer foundation, the address i have is PO Box 498 Wakefield WF1 9AW, however I had a probem with that address last time and Dr Joshi sent me another address.
So we should double check with him and Krishan.
Hope you're well

Hello Dee

I am sorry that your donation was returned.

Our address: PO Box 498, Wakefield WF1 9AW is correct but for some unknown reason we experienced several problems with your and other donations that were sent to our PO Box address in mid-December and early January. I took the matter up with the post office. The Post Office have apologised but have given no reason. It didn’t create a good impression for our charity. I will be asking for a free extension of of our PO Box lease!

You should not experience the same problem again, so it is okay to send your donations/corresspondence to our ‘PO Box’ address:
Mouth Cancer Foundation
PO Box 498
Wakefield
WF1 9AW

Thanks for your support.

Best wishes
Vinod Coffee

Hi Vinod,

Thanks for the address.

Once I've got all the money I'll pop it off recorded delivery. Because I don't trust Royal Mail I tend to do alot of my stuff over the phone, however, when anything important like this gets sent it's always recorded!

I've only got another £10 to collect out of the pledged money, however have decided to send in the cheque just incase I can't get this money. In total I've raised £190 (including the online sponsorship) and even had someone from Germany sponsor me.

Smiler SmilerLook out for two dentists (Matthew Nolan and Kul Sokhal) wearing MCF t-shirts!Smiler Smiler

With teeth gritted, dentists run the London Marathon 11th April 2008

There will be 102 dentists pounding the streets of London this Sunday (13 April).

They are just a fraction of the 48,363 runners taking part in this year's Flora London Marathon.

Seventy male dentists and 32 female have hopefully been in training for the mass race that is predicted to attract half a million spectators along the 26.2-mile route through the capital, from Blackheath Park/Greenwich Common to The Mall.

Statistics from the organisers also reveal that 86 dental assistants will be joining the throng.

Last year, the London Marathon raised more than £46.5million for charity by its runners.
