BRITAIN AGAINST CANCER A new cancer strategy, a new NHS – making it work
14 December 2010 Church House, Westminster, London

Britain Against Cancer has become an annual event in Westminster. For over a decade it has successfully brought together patients, health professionals and policy-makers to look at the impact of public policy on cancer services and research. The Coalition Government has set out the most significant programme of healthcare reform in a generation. The refresh of the Cancer Reform Strategy, the publication of the Health White Paper, and the Palliative Care Funding review, will impact considerably upon cancer research and the delivery of cancer services across the country. Britain Against Cancer 2010 will provide you with an opportunity to hear from the decision-makers driving these reforms, including the Rt. Hon. Andrew Lansley CBE MP, Secretary of State for Health, and to debate how we can ensure the reforms meet the needs of cancer patients and their families.

The full Britain Against Cancer Conference 2010 announcement, programme and registration form is available via the link from the APPG on Cancer website
