Hello,

My name is David Solomon, and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte completing an honors thesis concerning reactions to stressful events. The project is under the supervision of Dr. Arnie Cann, a Professor in the Psychology Department.

I am looking for people who have experienced an exceptionally stressful life event within the past 3 years, and who would like to express how the event has affected them. If the event is ongoing, like a medical problem, it should have been diagnosed within the past 3 years in order for you to participate. Your participation would be greatly appreciated, and should aid the scientific community, as well as broadening our knowledge of the effects of profoundly stressful on individuals. In order to participate, you must be at least 18 years old.

The study would require that you complete several brief, on-line surveys, and should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. If you decided to participate, all your information will be completely anonymous and confidential. You are a volunteer, so you may choose to discontinue participation at any time.
