The helpline is considered to be necessary because there are many people who are not IT literate or do not have easy access to a computer and as a consequence can not avail themselves of the undisputed comfort and benefit offered by this website.Mouth cancer is most common amongst older people,the very section of the community least likely to be IT literate and most likely to benefit from a friendly voice when worried about something they do not understand.
We are looking for volunteers from people who have been exposed to, and understand, the problems associated with mouth cancer either as a patient or a carer.The demands on the volunteers' time will be minimal, training will be given and costs will be met by the foundation.
Take a little time to think about this valuable addition to the foundation;ask yourself if you could do this kind of voluntary work and if you could spare a few hours each week,if the answer is yes then please contact Dr. Geeta Joshi.
