Lump in bottom lip
 Login/Join
Posted
Hi,
For the last week or so I have noticed a small lump on my bottom lip, about half the size of a pea. It doesn't hurt at all. If I stretch the skin, it looks sort of whitish. I am worried as I do smoke and drink,(giving up smoking v.soon) It feels harder more than soft if you know what I mean?
I'll be going to the doctors tomorrow.
Thanks for any answers Smiler

Good afternoon Trixy,

You have come up with two good ideas ,giving up smoking is a first class idea,I don't have to say anymore do I?
The other good idea is to see the doctor in the morning. There are many reasons why lumps develop in the mouth, most of the problems are minor and easily dealt with, but it just is not worth risking any delay.Even more sinister problems are much more easily dealt with when treated early.
Now don't you go worrying about this, enjoy the evening and carry out the two good ideas in the morning. Please let us know how you get on.
Keep Smiling Razzer
John
