I've had this hard lump in the top of my mouth for the last 8 years. I never noticed it, one day I was laughing and someone under me noticed it. It causes me no pain, it occasionally gets irritated if I've drank a lot of lemonade or something like that, but it's there.

It is also causing a dent in my tongue. A dent in that, when my mouth closes, this LUMP rests on the middle of my tongue.

Please help. I am curious.

hhhmmm - could be bone mass - sounds like it had been there a long time but impossible to diagnose over the internet so why not contact a professional and let them have a looksy inside your mouth? better safe than sorry let us know what happens...
