Sorry for starting another topic...

Having been educating myself on the subject of mouth cancers, I am going to try to be vigilant to anything untoward happening in my mouth or throat.

Aside from an ordinary mirror and checking the front of the mouth and tongue, and maybe using a small dental mirror for looking at the roof of the mouth and backs of the gums, what else can I do? I'm impressed that so many people have noticed things growing or changing around their tonsils as I'm not even sure I can *see* my tonsils. I think I know where they're *supposed* to be, but it's hard to see and I would have difficulty spotting any changes unless they were significantly enlarged.

Help, suggestions, diagrams, gadgets?
