Is there any harm in squeezing a lump in your mouth? It's been there since summer, and I try and pop it, it comes back, and so on and so on.

Not dangerous, but you need to see your dentist for a diagnosis. It could be a recurring abcess or a mucous retention cyst. Let us know how you get on.
