does anyone ever go in the chat room ???

I have been on this site for four months and have never known anyone use the chat room (though I suppose I might have missed them). Funnily enough I was thinking about this myself only yesterday and wondering whether to invite some people to chat but I have never used a chat room, so not really sure how I would do this. I have found when posting normally that you can get a good conversation going anyway - you just have to wait a little while longer for a response.

btw how is Nigel? Hope he is doing OK.

i've never used either had a little look earlier on but there was just an echo i'm a bit manic tonight with happiness that nige okay was goin to open a bottle of wine but fear i may drink the lot as am bit over excited , thanks gwyn for thoughts . i told him you'd sent wishes

Sorry didn't see your message earlier - have been away for the weekend, returned home with a really bad cold and crawled into bed, where I have spent most of today.

Did you get anyone to talk to today? If not, how about we set a time for tomorrow evening - say 7.00 p.m. when we could meet in the chat room and try it out? Hope I'll be feeling better by then - but I'm back off to bed now.

I used to go into the chat room too and waited! and waited! and waited! I got to chat to Dr J a few times and then got out of the habit of logging in to it (plus I'm not to often here now anyway)
If though, when any of us are on line here, if we log into the chat site first, post a Hello, I'm here, then minimise
(-) the window, there is a notification that lets you know when someone answers.
If we all get into the habit, it's a great way to chat 'real time'
I did say to Dr.J ages ago I would post an 'Idiots guide' to using it, then forgot (it took me a while to work it out) so if anyone would like to join in ask me and I'll explain the easy way.
