Hi I have a small bump just under my teeth on the right side of my mandible. You can't notice it unless I pout it out its flesh colored and kids hard although I can flatten it out with my finger but in a few minutes it pops back up I had a dr look at it she was concerned when I push on it I can feel pointy bone underneath everything I have seen online points to it being a tori or torus however its actually called but it just freaks me out that I can its soft enough to flatten out but still is very rough... It doesn't hurt hasn't appeared to grow at all any suggestions? I had a dental hygentist say it was a tori but still scarines me any advice would be helpful Thx!!! Frank Stanek | |||

Hell Frankie It is not possible to make a diagnosis over the Internet. Please ask your dentist to have a look and get yourself a proper diagnosis - it will give you some peace of mind. Let us know how you get on. Best wishes Vinod Disclaimer: Please see your own dentist/doctor for a proper diagnosis as my words should not, in any circumstances, be taken as dental/medical advice.
