Hello & Help Please! (Swollen Tongue +++ & Hyperhidrosis)

Hello Community!

I have never done this before - so there may be some tacit knowledge gone AWOL here - please help if you can and overlook any blunders I make...

I am taking Coversyl with Perindopril to combat a fairly newly diagnosed "mild" Hypertension.
The above came about due to what I thought was stress in not being able to secure a good job despite self funding and MBA and coming out with flying colours!

What I do have that I have searched teh web for - which has confused me between Chinese Herbal/homeopathic remedies etc and Gov. body web sites is the following:

Lond standing (12 months +) swollen tongue white coating - scalloped at edges in shape of teeth.
Swollen glands.
About 2 months ago I started waking in the night with a "strangelation feeling - ie unable to breathe and I'd wake with a startled cough" - but that seems to have gone now.
Ulcers that come and go on my tongue (tend to be on side of tongue).
Feeling that something is stuck at back of throat (like skin touching something?).
Big balloon shaped blood blisters on underside of tongue (esp. when eating) - I can feel them growing over a 2 to 3 minute time frame and then they stop growing. They don't go - I have to "pop" them. YUK!
The underside of my tongue is "raggy" with skin hanging down and red & sore generally. "YUK"!!

Along with this I have fairly acute hyperhidrosis - esp. at night in bed. Disgusting salty sweat marks appear on bedclothes and PJ's!

Recently I started riding a bicycle to the train station... resulting in excessive sweat even with little exersion! I am maybe 10 Lbs overweight - but with relatively good physical condition. 40 years YOUNG!!! Smiler Male.

Generally I feel "not very well at all" and tired, with aching joints and I am developing an unacceptable bad mood... usually a very placid personality.

I do feel I need to visit doctors - daft thing is that I'm a contractor and get paid by the day. Work is V.busy and getting time off is going to hit my earnings + frowned upon by bosses. I know - work doesn't control my life and my health...

Can anyone give me an overview of what I have summarsied above? I feel that having seen various websites I have become confused over what could be my problem (stress may still be a governing factor).

Please see link to a Gov. web site that I typed search criterion: http://64.233.183.100/search?q=cache:AaCj2_5vrGYJ:www.m...n&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=uk
This is a UK Gov. weblink and is safe!

Any help please? Anyone suffered this before?

Yours Unhappily,

Stu

Sorry for long post!

I did forget to mention I went to docs just over 1 year ago with a "reflux" problem.
I had blood tests (slightly high cholesterol), treadmill(slightly high blood pressure), abdominal scan (gave a brightness of liver result) and a mouth/stomach test - ecocabatcer?? (drink acidic solution and then blow into test tube for analysis) - which resulted in no nasties in the stomach!

This is why I'm now on the blood pressure tablets.

Hope you can help.

Stu

Hello Stu

It is not possible to give a diagnosis over the Internet. Please explain all the above to your doctor and if not happy with what he tells you, you can always ask for a specialist opinion.

Let us know how youn get on.

Best wishes
