two months ago my lower lip(right where it connects to the gums) started to really hurt. it would hurt to eat or anything that made my lip go down and away from the gums. i looked and didnt see anything. the pain was a sharp pain that kind of itched afterwards. the pain would get better and go away, then come back for a few times. now i have a small white sore there. it feels like a canker sore. also a sore spot on my tongue on the left back side that has been there for two weeks. i don't know if this is something to do with my pregnancy and hormons or if its something i should worry about. i know it really painful right now and it starting to really bug me. does this sound like cancer? or is it just my hormons acting up and giving me sores that wont go away. i do have cold sores, had them since i was 5.

This could be a gum problem or infection (unless you have been keeping tobacco there!)

Could be an ulcer (from trauma or viral, etc), can't really tell.

Rather than worry needlessly, you should go and see you dentist for an opinion and appropriate treatment (and peace of mind). Let us know how it turns out. Good luck with the pregnancy.

Best wishes
