I am 19 years old and this year rather unforunatenly i got toncilitis twice in the space of 6 months, after never having it once
The first time my doctor prescribed penicilin and pain killers, cleared up in day or two, no problem

2nd time doctor prescribed a diffrent drug but said it may not work as ive already been on medication for them before, and it didnt help. So had to wait that one out for about a week and a half.

Has been a few months on and i caught a cold the other day, and had a slightly, very slightly sore throat, i also noticed two spots again, like from when i had toncilistis. The cold is pretty much gone now, and sore throat is non existent, is just still two white spots at the back. Is this pretty normal after having toncilitis previously and should dissapear on their own??

When my daughter was a teenager she suffered with repeated bouts of tonsillitis.We always knew it was tonsillitis before the doctor diagnosed her because they were always covered in white spots.She used to call it her mushroom patch and it made her breath smell quite badly.The spots would sometimes stay for days after the sore throat had cleared up.
