Circumvallate Papillae
 Login/Join

I have had the feeling that I have a hair in the back of my throat and I went to an oral surgen and was told it was nothing but an enlarged circumvallate papillae. It has been here for almost 2 months and has not gone down. What can I do to shrink it back to normal size? I bothers me so much that I have become a hermit and don't want to do anything but sleep. Please help me.

Hello Jason

I don't think anyone knows much about the workings of Circumvallate_papillae and why they enlarge. This dicussion on enlarged circumvallate papillae has made me realise that that it is a problem that needs an answer. If anyone finds a way of getting enlarged circumavallate papillae to shrink, please let us all know.

Best wishes
Vinod Coffee
