why do people who chew tobacco on left cheek have high incidence of getting cancer in the right cheek or vice versa . . long time doubt can any one pls clarify this | |||

Hi Gopal What do you base these observations on as this is the first I have heard of this. Usually, the mucosal changes and oral cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) develop in the site where the betel(or tobacco) quid is held. It may be that the side it is held is not the side it is chewed!
