Oh dear. I seem to have deleted the whole thing so I will start again and if it appears somewhere else you'll know whe.
I was wondering why Ensure Plus has started making me cough badly, while the other less calorific and less beneficial boosters don't have this effect?
Has anyone else had this problem? I am going through a bad eatinhg time at the moment, managing just homemade mushroom soup and puddings. Oh and my morning drink of blended egg, banana, goats yoghurt, multivit tablet and milk. That takes me over an hour to sip, helped by a mug of tea. Thank goodness I don't have a real job! For 'job' read 'eating'.I think I've probably put myself off lentil soup and vegetable soup as I've had so much over the past year.
Any more nutritious ideas most welcome, mes amis.

Ishbel I've become very partial to Morrisons little luxury xmas puds at 99p for 100gm size. With cream of course. I just open them up a little add a tablespoon of water on top and microwave it for 45 seconds.

I know you cannot eat currants, but maybe you could warm a pud and once softer puree one into slurry with a spoon or two more of water. They do have calories in them and I can taste about 90% of them which is why I bought 6 for my storecupboard yesterday. I have to say the larger version compares only penny for penny price wise weight wise and somehow the small mini ones are approachable when you have our feeding problems.
I also tried the cheaper 59p one, but found I could tell even with my tastebuds that the luxury one was superior.

Its just an idea and even if you can't use it maybe someone else here can.

Thank you Pauline. We don't have a Morrisons in darkest Essex, not in my Suffolky bit anyway but I'll look out for something similar. By the way your new photograph looks very glamorous. Why Krishan has decided to depict me as a squashy grey cat-dog is definitely not Freudian!
I think.
