Hey Im new at this ...but Im searching the net about sore throat and tonsellitts. Thats what Ive have..Ive had it now for almost 2 week. I got a shot in my hip of rocefen..its a antobotic. The I was prescribed a high powered antibiotic..! The problem is that I dont feel any better or see any signs of improvement besides Im not running fever! My throat is still sore and I still feel like I have a cold. My throat is still swollen and red..and has white pockets on it! eww I know! Ne help or suggestions would be appriciated!

If the treatment you have had has not cured the problem, then go and see your doctor, who may try other treatments, or be able to make a further diagnosis based on the progression of your symptons. My doctor once told me that if I didn't go back to see him, he would just presume that whatever he had prescribed had cured me.
