My son is 6 yrs old and yesterday complained of his throat hurting. When I looked at it the uvual was sticking to the side. He drank some water and it released but has continued to stick to side. why is this and what could be wrong?

Hello Tammy

I am sorry your post was missed. The uvula could have been sticking to the side owing to tenacious mucous/saliva caused by a sore throat. I hope your son is better now.

Best wishes
Vinod Coffee
