Hi, I am new to this board so first I would like to say hello to everyone.

Now I was wondering if someone can tell what to do and if this is the begining of mouth cancer.

I am a 28 year old male and I have been using smokeless tobacco for about ten years.

I have two lumps inside my right check right where I would place a dip. I can feel them with my tongue and if I place my fingers inside my mouth you can also feel the lumps. The lumps feel hard and round.

Could this be cancer? The lumps seem to be inside the cheek. Who do I see to get them checked out? My dentist or family doctor.

I have been going to the same dentist since I was a kid. I get regular checkups and had a root canal done last month. But he does not know I dip.

This scares me alot. Anyones comments or input would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

Hi BRC777

Do stop chewing tobacco - it is a dangerous habit Banghead and see your dentist about your concern. You may find this post on chewing tobacco helpful. To follow past discussion about this, do a search in the Q & A section for the word "tobacco". Hope that helps.

Best wishes
