Okay, I'm back, I'm not trying to be paranoid but here goes.

As I said before I had a cyst in my tonsil a year ago. Because of that my right tonsil is now in the shape of ohh lets say a dew drop. Round at the top and then tappers down to be skinny at the bottom. I sometimes have problems with it, like a scratchy throat or I will even feel it back there. Well I use to get tonsil stones all the time, or whatever, those white chunk things..very gross! but I see a tiny pale white spot on my tonsil near the bottom of the """dew drop""" I know it is not a tonsil stone because they usually start out very white or yellow. This is grayish or just pale in color. Could this be a cause for concern, when I went to the dentist last week, I don't think it was there.

Sorry to ask so many questions.

Hello Jen

Read the descriptions (from Figure 1.27 onwards) of the normal appearances of the tonsil in the article Normal Findings and Structures Mistaken for Disease. Perhaps, you will recognise what you are describing in there.

Hope that helps.

Best wishes
