Has anyone any ideas on how to ease the problems causing fatigue???? Tired (not normal tired, ten times worse), Short tempered. I was like this before my operation, then it eased but now since radiation it seems to have returned. :banghead:

Hello Dawn. You didn't say how longn it is since tyou had the RT. In my own case it wasn't untilk about the fourth week of thye radiotherapy that the tiredness sort of started. But at the end of it, as the specialist had warned, that is when it really kicked in. I remember--it's five years now-suddenly saying goodnight to everyone, upstairs at 8p.m. and not waking until mid-day. It was like that for about a year and gradually improved. But I sill need much more sleep than anyone else I knaow. It is now after 1 in the morning, I'll go to bed in a few minutes, read for an hour, and get up, still feeling boggy-eyed at mid-day.
Don't wprry about being bad-tempered. But try not to fight the tiredness. Give in to it otherwiase everybody else will suffer!
