Please help relieve me! My husband has leukemia (only 28) and now I'm worried about oral cancer symptoms in my mouth (I'm 29)! We could not handle two cancer diagnoses! For about a year, I have had a small lump on the floor of my mouth near the base of my teeth. It is smaller than a pea, a litle larger than a BB. It has not changed in size at all. It's totally smooth and feels soft. Recently, I noticed that when I run my tongue between my front teeth, it feels like it catches on something. After much self-examination, it feels like there may be a very small type of lump. Smaller than a grain of rice..although I cannot even tell if there is actually a lump or it's a normal part of my tongue. Could this be cancer? Does oral cancer usually present itself with lumps? | |||
