Seeing as you are home already, I'm guessing that it sounds as though you caught it pretty early and there were no flaps to be made from anywhere to replace the bits they cut out ??

From here it really all depends on what they found in the bits they cut out.

Yes, you are right, they have just stitched my tongue together, it's a bit lopsided but nothing too bad

Fingers crossed they got it all I am back in a couple of weeks to find out
