27 yr old-soft lump on roof of mouth???Go ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
About 3 weeks ago a soft lump with no pain appeared on the left side of the roof of my mouth. It feels as if it was rubbed raw by my tongue or something, but either way it had seemed to go away back to its usual texture then on one particular day it changed texture back to being "raw/soft" feeling. When my brother looked at it he said it looked normal but like it had been rubbed raw. I am 27 years old, I havent smoked in 4 years, I live a moderately healthy life which includes working out and eating on a diet. However, when I was a young male I did live a very unhealthy lifestyle which included a lot of cancerous drugs(pcp, marijuana) as well as smoking about a pack a day from the time I was 16 until I was 23. I dont know if my old lifestyle could be to blame or if this is something cancerous or not. Does anyone have a clue what this bump could be please?? Thanks for your help

Hello south9710 It is probably not a cancer but it is not possible to make a diagnosis over the Internet. You should see your dentist or doctor for an opinion. Let us know the outcome.
