Hi everyone,
I've had one quite swollen tonsil and another one with a lump on it for close to two months now. At the same time I've had oral thrush the entire time. I live in a rural area and we have no permanent doctors so I have seen 7 people so far to treat my mouth illnesses. I do have a referral in for ENT and internal med but I'm obviously still stressed over nothing getting better in two months after seeing so many doctors. My question is (even though I know it's not formal medical advice) does the lump on my tonsil look like anything I should be worried about? Some of the doctors were worried, some weren't. Thank you all for your time |

Hello Northerner
I assume you are referring to the little lump on the left tonsil in the photo. It doesn't look like a mouth cancer, more like a polyp. Most polps are non-cancerous but they are usually removed (biopsy) to confirm this. Hope that helps.
