my 82 year old husband is undergoing radiotherpy twice daily for cancer of the epiglottis, apart from the usual side effects very sore throat and tiredness,he is also experiencing a thick phlegm mucus like substance which he has to keep clearing from the back of his throat, I would like to know if this is a normal side effectThis message has been edited.
