I have noticed some of our members refering to having their oesophagus stretched and wondered why this was necessary. However having finished my radio back in Dec I have been gradually building up my repetoire of foods until the last few weeks when I am finding it more difficult to swallow anything even the foods I had previosly managed. almost everything gets stuck and has to be regurgitated (sorry) and rechewed and swallowed. Was wondering if stretching my oesaphagus would help. I am resorting back to peg feeding as eating is becoming so difficult. Please can I have some advise/

Thanks Dr joshi for the info. I know Rosemary has had this procedure twice but she has not been on the message board for some weeks.I am seeing my ENT surg on Thurs to discuss my difficulties swallowing. Thanks again, Sue
