Hi again
5 years now since treatment (neck sec/chemo/rad) and all is fine on the main issue. I have been having the usual breaking down of teeth and my wonderful dentist has been fitting new tips to each tooth as it broke away. The latest issue is the fact that while eating (I had all rear teeth removed) splinters/slivers of food are being rammed up behind and in between my front teeth, sometines causing great pain and infections. Does anyone have any similar experiences and /or have any ideas what can be done. Or is it just the gums breaking down on their way to total inability to seal my teeth ie nearing removal time. |

hi phil, when i eventually started eating my bottom frount tooth became loose and verry painfull my top teeth and back were removed before treatment, the dentist installed a splinth about 5 months ago as a tempory aid and its still there, it locks seversl teeth together i have had no pain or problems since then dont know if that would work for you but it would be well worth asking abouth , take care jimmy.
