Hi, I am a 19 year old male and non smoker, I have lumps on the back of my tongue, the lumps are red but recently there has been nore of them, there is no real pain from them but every now and again my mouth feels "dirty" with a slight pain in my lower throat at the front. I have been having these symptoms for a few years now and every time i go to my local GP and yet again alls i get is a course of antibiotics or anti-inflamitories and in come cases both and told that it was nothing to worry about, I was just wondering if you could give me any advice in reagrds to what this may: be, what it is caused by and how it may be treated or any other advice which u may have. Yours Sincerely, Leo Devenney | |||

Hello Leo It is not possible to make a diagnosis over the Internet. If concerned, I suggest that you ask your doctor to refer you to an ENT or Maxillofacial specialist for a second opinion.
