Hi All,
I am trying to be rational, NOW my doc advises ENT. What would you do? I have had a lump on the roof of my mouth that has caused me no pain, remained within the same site at a constant size for a period of 7/8 years. When a consultant examined the lump and said 'keep an eye on it' I assume he meant if it grows, bleeds...etc. I was very worried having inspected the back of my mouth,(jumped to wrong con) the doctor said nothing to worry about. Just an infection so....I accept! So should I now have a biopsy done on the lump, or get on with my life. Could a biopsy change the lump nature to malignant? (Dr.Joshi, please) Would really appreciate views Many Thanks Dave |

Hi DaveA(nxious?)
Your doctors' have concluded on clinical grounds (history, location, appearance, etc) that the lump is not a cancer. But you need to be assured, or else you won't be able to get on with your life Best wishes Vinod :coffee: Disclaimer: Please see your own dentist/doctor for a proper diagnosis as my words should not, in any circumstances, be taken as dental/medical advice.
