About four days ago, my husband noticed a lump under his tongue. He said that it doesn't really hurt, but is a little sore. We are trying to get him in to see a doctor, but in the meantime thought maybe we could get some advice here to ease our minds.

Hello horsee
It is not possible to make a diagnosis over the Internet but it looks like a localised inflammation of the salivary duct opening that could have been caused by trauma (rubbing against a tooth edge? Do see your doctor if you are worried. Let us know how you get on.
