I've started to have my teeth out. Mmmmmm very nice! Smiler But I had some teeth out about 6 weeks ago and now my upper jaw appears to be coming through my gum. It's very sharp and sore - is this normal?

Hello Scoobysoo

The extraction sockets should have healed enough to be covered by gum and for no bone to show through. Sometimes, it can be a bit of dead bone (sequestrum) poking through. Please see your dentist about it.

Best wishes
