I went to my Dentist yesterday and she noticed this white lump on my tonsillar pillar. Next to the white lump there is some other lump the same color as my skin. I have noticed this lump since the past two years. I feel it is the same size/ could be just slightly bigger, now that the dentist pointed it out I look at it every hour. I am so scared it is oral cancer. I have an ENT appointment on the 13th but till then I am really scared. I cry all thetime thinkning what it could be. I am 20 years old and I have never smoked or had alcohol. I have a family history of brain, tumour, intestinal tumour and breast cancer.
Please help me, I am scared.

Hello Priya

Stop worrying, your dentist didn't say it was abnormal! There are several natural lumps at the back of the tongue. The white spot could be a tonsil stone. Then try a Google search for tonsil stones. Be amazed at how common they are, and the different things people on the various message boards have tried.

Let me know how you get on !

Best wishes
