I have a lump on the right side of my tongue, when I poke it with a needle it's like it's just a piece of skin but it's lighter in color than the rest of my tongue which worries me. I don't smoke cigarattes but I smoke umm another plant and I use tobacco leafs sometimes. It's in aposition under my top canine tooth where it could have just been me biting my tongue and it being swollen, but I'm worried because of the occasional tobbaco use.

I suggest that if you are worried about any of the problems that you have described you go and see your local doctor (or sheriff) and ask (or confess)!
Reveal your soul to the learned gentlemen and ask their opinion. Depending on which order you see the above, you may not have to pay for the doctor's consultation.
It's probably nothing to worry about but maybe the whacky backy is making you paranoid - in which case there are probably other forums that could help you better than this one.
