Hi
i'm a 21 year old non smoker, and for afew weeks now, i've noticed a small raised lump growing between my front teeth on the right side(in the bit of gum that you see between the two front teeth, but on the right tooth's side, if that makes any sense). the lump is a little puffy but does not seem to be pussy nor 'poppable', rather it looks like excess skin, but its enough to be noticeable. what could this be? will this go away on its own? is there anyway to remove this? Hello miffy
It is not possible to make a diagnosis over the Internet. It might be a gum infection causing the swelling. Sometimes medications can do this too. You are doing the right thing by getting it seen to by your dentist. Let us know how you get on.
