Little white lump behind bottom front teeth

Hi i'm 16 years old, and I noticed a very little white lump behind my front bottom teeth. It is virtually painless, but it's been there for a couple of days and I was wondering if I should be concerned. Is it normal for little bumps like this to appear out of no where, and just go away on its own, or does it sound like something more. Thanks for your help.

Hi Dolphinz1234

Please see your family doctor or dentist about this. It could be any number of things (a popcorn hull that's worked its way under your gum; you might have burned your mouth on some food; irritation from a tongue stud if you wear one).

Please let us know how this turns out.

Julia
