lump in my throat

I woke up with a lump in my throat yesterday and its worse today. It hurts to swallow and to burp. Now i can actually stick my finger in my thraot and feel it in there. I don't have a "sore throat",it just hurts where the lump is. I have no idea what it is and its freaking me out!
