Hi,

Just a few days ago I have noticed a lump under the skin on my throat. Just above the "adamsappel"? (The thing that moves up and down when you swallow) It has been there since about 5 days, is not painful. It's hard and I can move it up and down although it seems to be stuck on the throat.

I am 27, have smoked on and off for about 8 yrs (have stopped now since 2 months) and like to drink beer. I am in good health.

I have also had the Human Papilloma Virus last year.

My friend says I am just being paranoid but I just want to be sure.
