I've had a mouth ulcer for a while now and I'm seeing an ENT consultant tomorrow at a local
hospital in Coventry. If it turns out to be cancer, would it be benefial to be treated at a specialist cancer centre like The Royal Marsden? Are there other specialist cancer centres in the UK? I took out private health insurance a while back as some of my relatives have had unhappy experiences at the two local hospitals. Could anyone offer me advice or tell me of their experiences? I'd be most grateful. Maggie D. |

Sorry I can't help. My mum just went to the local Max Facial and was treated by an excellent team ....... mind you, one of them IS Dr Joshi !!!

Hi Maggie
I was treated on the NHS at our local Max Fax department in Leicester (again not too far from you). I had a bit of a wait for my op, but apart from that I cannot fault the treatment I received. I really hope you don't need it though! Let us know how you get on. Will be thinking of you. All the best Gwyn |
