My father has hair on the inside portion of the flap of skin used to reconstruct his cheek and lower lip. Is this normal?

Paul, unfortunalty it is. I had a lot for they took mine from my leg. Why they did not laser this first I will never understand. I had a appt. to have it removed after the surgery, however I cannot open my mouth wide enough for them to do it. It is also very very expensive to have done, tho my insurance will pay for it. So I plucked what I can see with tweezers for now. That is the only way that I can. You might ask his doctor about the laser technique, if he can open his mouth. Best of luck, Vicki Lynn
