Growth on roof of my mouth

About a year and a half ago I started to notice this tiny growth on the roof of my mouth. Long story short, I thought it was just a peice of skin that developed over a cut from eating a chip or something. It stayed for a long time and got VERY irritating, so I finally took it upon myself to cut it out. I got most of it but had my athletic trainer cut the rest out with a scapel. It healed over and I thought it had gone away until recently. I felt it start to flare up again about a month ago.And now it is just like it used to be. It is just a tiny ball of skin that almost hangs from the roof of my mouth. My physician told me to see a dentist because if it is a tumor they have to cut it out and do a biopsy on it. But I am starting to worry now, any idea??

Hello Jorge

Your physician has asked you to see your dentist for an opinion and diagnosis! What are you waiting for? It may not be a cancer but you and your atheltic trainer should stop playing doctor.Roll Eyes

It is not possible to make a diagnosis over the Internet.

Let us know how you get on.

Best wishes
