I just recently found a hard bone like lump on the roof of my mouth. I went to my GP and he said it was a torus palantinus. I then had an appt. with an ENT for allergy testing and just had her take a look at it and she couldn't see anything but could feel it. She said not to worry about it unless it grows. Last week I went to my dentist for a cleaning and had her look as well, and of course, she couldn't see it either but could feel it . She said it was nothing to worry about and had probably been there since birth and is my normal anatomy and that everyone's mouth is different. I just feel like I've received 3 different answers from 3 different doctors. Can this be normal?

Hello Shab
Yes, a hard lump in the mid-palate is normal. the size can vary. Yours doctors were all saying the same thing. Your torus appears too small to see by your doctors but can be felt with your tongue. Please see this previous discussion given about this.
