I had Partial Maxillectomy and Neck dissection Surgery on Oct 14th 2009, and have following questions
1) What device is available for exercise for Mouth & Jaw, as after surgery, I can only open mouth distance one finger.
2) It has been nearly 3+ weeks that I am having liquid diet with NG, so how long it would be ?
3) In 2001 I had a surgery Larynx removed, total Laryngectomy
Any further information would be appreciated

Hello Noor Ali

The limited mouth opening is often a side-effect of treatment (surgery or radiotherapy) which can involve/affect the jaw muscles. There are exercises you can do to help regain some improvement. Please read through these past posts on trismus as you will find them informative and helpful to your situation.

Best wishes
